Barry Soloman
Hi, my name is Barry Soloman been living or working in the Caribbean since 1984. In that 25 year time span, I've acquired a vast amount of knowledge regarding the selling or purchasing of residential Real Estate in this particular area of the world. I make it one of my highest priorities with every transaction I perform, to use this experience for the benefit of all my customers. I've been in the Real Estate profession for over 28 years and have either bought or sold Real Estate in three countries. This includes both on a personal and professional level. A brief highlight of some of my personal accomplishments includes the following. In 2009 I placed in the top 5% of more than 182,000 Coldwell Banker Agents worldwide for closed volume. Ranked 47th in the state of Florida for 2009. Florida currently has more than 193,000 licensed Agents. 2008 placed in the top 5% on closed volumes for Coldwell Banker. Both 2008 & 2009 received Coldwell Banker's prestigeous "Presidents Award" for closed units. These are just a few of many such awards. When the opportunity to purchase the franchise rights for RE/MAX in the area of Cabrera became available to me, it was an opportunity not to be passed up. RE/MAX is the most widely known Real Estate company in the world. With sales exceeding one billion U.S. dollars per day, it was a team I had to be an active part of. Denise Bess
I first came to the Dominican Republic over 15 years ago and since that first encounter my love for this beautiful, diverse and unspoiled country has not diminished. Specifically, the North where my husband and I now call home and where I am so excited about sharing with others. It is a long way from the San Francisco Bay Area where I started my real estate career in a highly exciting and competive market. I cut my teeth on difficult but rewarding transactions – always focusing on the needs of my clients that if they were not already, soon became friends.
That is what I love about real estate, meeting new people and helping people to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Although, I have a background in telecommunications working for Pacific Bell, AT&T and finally Comcast as a senior contract negotiator, I have found the intimate interaction with people in real estate to be much more fulfilling. Especially, here in the Dominican Republic where it is so important to understand the real estate process before purchasing and it is so important to understand the value and dangers of purchasing in various areas, I am happy that I am able to help ones to see all that I see in this special place.

Judy Brown
Hello I’d like to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Judy Brown and I’m a native Texan who also has deep roots in Central America, Honduras to be exact. I’ve also lived for some time in South Korea where my husband Richard accepted a position offered by the U.S. Air Force. Having a strong base of assorted cultures has allowed me to be somewhat of an experienced world traveler. I have even been fortunate enough to be able to teach English as a second language while living in Central America. The balance of my career has been spent in the medical profession where for over eight years was involved in nuclear medicine, specializing in area of the cardiology.
After over thirty years in the work force in coupled with many discussions in was mutually agreed that it was time to retire and start enjoying life and especially our three grandchildren. Richard and I also wanted to retire where our fixed income would be able to go a lot further but not at the expense of safety, tranquility or ease of living. After countless hours of research, scanning through various magazines and web sites we had narrowed it down to five islands located in various parts of the Caribbean. While taking our first trip the location that was selected was the Dominican Republic north coast. While there we stumbled on to a little town named Cabrera that we fell in love with. What a shock! We had no idea that this type of family life and safety was still available as we both thought it was extinct fifty plus years ago. Imagine American, Canadian and European cultures blending right along with each other, even more impressive to us were the local residents blending right in to the whole melting pot. Everyone helping each other I just had to get involved and assist others who might appreciate this long forgotten form of peaceful lifestyle. A little bit of additional research led me to the best name to help others see this little paradise for themselves, that name is RE/MAX. Please allow me to assist in making a distant dream into a close reality. You owe it to yourself to check this town out and if you’re anything like us your decision will be an easy one. Come to Cabrera your visit might last a week but your memories will last a lifetime, we know you’ll be staying forever. Hope to see you soon.
